IsArt was established in March 1993 by Gadi and Sharon Eisner. They had lived in Israel until 1992 and were very impressed by the talent of the Israeli artisans. With a $500 dollar investment, the Eisner's purchased some jewelry and put it on consignment in Denver, Colorado's affluent Cherry Creek area. Within 2 weeks, they received a call asking for more jewelry and IsArt was born!
The Eisner's began selling many different Israeli artisans in Colorado and New Mexico and slowly expanded the business across the US by doing trade shows and working with rep groups. Many of the initial reps are still with the company today.
IsArt has grown into one of the leading businesses in the industry, while remaining true to its original vision of bringing high end artistic jewelry, religious items, and gifts produced by Israeli artisans to U.S. consumers. The company now offers designs from a half-dozen Israeli artists, and continues to develop new talents. While the popularity of IsArt's collections can be attributed to the skill of the designers, the loyalty of its customer base stems from the company's business priorities: outstanding customer service, quality, integrity and credibility.
IsArt jewelry and Judaica can be found in galleries, museum stores, mail order catalogues, department stores, boutiques and specialty stores across the country. There are 16 sales reps nationwide that market IsArt merchandise. The company's lines can be seen at all of the major trade shows in the United States.
